Tried to do a speedpaint of a cave, but had a bit of trouble with it. Awesome photo though, right? (thanks Polly!) I posted the photo reference I was working off of next to it. Anyone have ideas on how I can fix it? Thank you!
The values and lighting look good! Try working with the opacity set to 100 and block out the shapes and values first. Also, ignore texture until the end, and because it's a natural space avoid patterning things (like the mushroom looking rocks) Making sure your image is the same aspect ratio as your reference helps a lot too.
